The apartment was well presented with a very generous welcome pack, and lots of essential food extras not always found in self catering accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The owners have chosen a lovely beach/sea view picture for the wall across from the breakfast table - a very nice touch. We were very comfortable in the apartment, and the shower was excellent. Great use has been made of relatively small space. A prefect base to explore Lewis from.

Convenient location with plenty of free parking. Clean and tidy property, and simple controls for heating / hot water and facilities. Overall pretty good place to stay for a couple of nights.

Directions to the property could have been a bit clearer as the house numbers to not follow the conventional pattern but got there eventually. Towels are very small and a heated towel rail would be handy for more than a single night. Not major things though.

We loved that there were little extras of foods that we weren't expecting, especially when we were arriving late.

Something went wrong with the pin number of the lock box but the host was nearby to assist.

Self contained fully equipt kitchen, easy access bathroom and shower.1 bedroom cottage Very comfortable. Stornaway car hire very helpful and reasonably priced.. Easy 25 minute walk to downtow, Ferry, Tesco, restaurants, pubs, shops etc.

Very well appointed cottage with its own parking space right in front of property on quiet street. Great decor and everything you need for a stay - washing machine, cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A very thoughtful and welcome touch was the "welcome" basket of fresh bread, shortbread and oat cakes. Just what i needed to accompany a hot cup of tea after a long wet ride on my motorcycle 😊 The property is situated about a mile outside of the centre of Stornoway and too far too walk into town, but this wasn't an issue for me.

The only small improvement might be the provision of a light above the bathroom mirror as it is quite dark in that space even with main light switched on. Also a hook to hang towel/clothes in bathroom would be handy.
