12 North Street

A beautifully furnished, modern, and spotlessly clean, self-contained apartment/flat. Perfect for a couple - one comfortable bed, bathroom, lounge-kitchen area with sofa and table and chairs to eat meals at. The kitchen had a cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle - all appeared brand new with everything else you could need to be self -catering. The proprietor had left bread, biscuits, and milk upon our arrival, which was a lovely gesture. The property is located in a beautifully peaceful location. It's about a 5 minutes drive from getting off the ferry in Stornoway to the front door. We walked into the town, and it took about 35/40 minutes. This is a perfect location to explore and would thoroughly recommend.

Very, very minor things - a mirror in the bedroom would be good? More hanging space for coats, shoes? Instructions on how to use the induction hob? Oven gloves would be good too

Nice place with a lot of nice details, a weil equiped kitchen, a modern bathroom, a cozy bedroom.

There could be more shelfs and bars and possibilities to hang up and dry the towels 😅

Gillian's place was perfect for our stay during hebcelt. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and well equipped with everything you could need. We had some time either side of the festival for exploring/camping so were mostly using the place to relax in during the day before heading out to the festival at night and it felt like a wee home away from home. A wee bit of a walk into town if you're not driving (half an hour - 40 mins or so) but we did it a couple of times and it was fine - there are also taxis available and the odd bus. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We could have done with a wee bit more storage space in the bedroom but probably only because we had too much stuff!

The kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped. It is a 20 minute walk into town.

Lovely cottage in a quiet residential location, close to Stornoway. Had everything we needed and more for our short stay. Gillian, the owner was close by if we needed her. Well placed for exploring the local area. Plenty of off road parking available too.

It was very warm during our stay, maybe a fan could have helped.

all amenities you would need available, host very easy to reach and responsive, I appreciated the friendliness of the neighbors

Clean and well equipped accommodation in a quite neighbourhood. Bread, milk and biscuits was provided.
