West George Street Apartment

Quality of apartment, decor, location. Meeting host who provided us with invaluable information and advice on our stay.

Location and space in flat was great.

We did not have hot water after being out all day in the rain. We wanted to all take hot showers and we could not do that until the following morning. That was quite the let down.

we loved the space and the location was perfect in the city. felt like being at home

It was so homely and the beds were so comfy and a lovely touch to be provided with some essentials for breakfast the next morning. The host Raymond was absolutely wonderful and was so warm, friendly and happily chatted away to all of us and made sure we knew everything about the apartment. definitely a highlight of our stay was meeting him! The location was so close to everything as well which was perfect.

Raymond is an excellent host, anticipating the needs of leisure visitors. Generous arrival goodies, an array of guidebooks, even help with luggage and parking (garage that's a 15 min walk is MUCH less costly). Great location, spacious flat.

That we had to leave

The location was superb. Raymond was a wonderful host and even helped when we had a user error with one of the facilities. He was friendly and helpful. And responded immediately to any queries. The apartment is exactly like it is pictured on the website. Short distance from the Queen Waverly station -- and many eating options nearby as well as provision stores to stock up if you plan on using the full kitchen. Overall highly recommend this apartment.

Nothing -- it was great.

The place was located slam in the middle of Glasgow, with everything within walking distance. The apartment itself was huge, with two very sizable bedrooms, each with its own balcony, a fully equipped large kitchen and very nice bathroom. The host who met us for the keys was a very nice man and was always available via WhatsApp, in case of questions. The man even got us milk and cookies when we arrived :D. This place is a definite recommend if you are up for some comfort.

The windows seemed a bit old. Some of the street noise made its way through at night. This was completely fixable with ear plugs when sleeping. Some of the windows also seemed to let some cold in, but we never actually felt cold in the apartment.

great central location, stylish, spacious and comfortable furniture, good communication with host who was very helpful indeed, meeting us early so we could bag drop. we had a wonderful stay here.

bathroom and oven could have been cleaner (mould in shower) and loo cistern was very slow to fill. there was late night noise from the bar (not unexpected)
