Butler's Apartment. Flat 5, Dalmore House, Helensburgh, Scotland G84 8JP

The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We liked the fact it was in a historic house, and that we had a lovely view of the loch from the living room window. We didn’t bring a car, but the bus stop for services into Helensburgh and to Gourock, where we caught the ferry to Kilcreggan, was only 5 minutes walk away. The Ardencaple pub is 7 minutes’ walk from Dalmore House, and the Beachcomber cafe is next to the bus stop. So a very convenient location. Also, we found our host very helpful.

I would have liked a small garden area which was private however I knew this wasn't available when I booked it.

Our stay was lovely we were visiting family. The apartment was beautiful very clean & cosy with fantastic decor.

The local is good, nice for a walk on the front.

The flat is in a lovely position was extremely comfortable. Super comfy bed and pillows. The kitchen was well fitted out and the shower room was excellent with nice big soft towels.

I was disappointed with the message sent by the owner about being careful with the amount of electricity usage because it’s expensive. Surely this is what the payment goes towards.
