"This cute cosy property was wonderful to stay in, I would recommend to others"

10.0

The property itself was so lovely, really beautiful decorated and so cosy. The location was perfect, set back form the road so it was very quiet and peaceful. Our host also left us a range of breakfast goodies which was really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

"The perfect Hideaway"

8.0

Everything we needed was self contained within The Hideaway. A beautiful setting tucked away in a picturesque and peaceful location.. A good selection of cereals, bread, croissants ,yogurt & jams are supplied along with teas and coffee, fresh milk & orange juice. Having a fridge was a must have as the weather was very hot. There's plenty of room inside The Hideaway. It contains a kitchen area with seating and a table. Also an electric double hob with everything supplied in the cupboards if you wanted to bring your own food to cook something hot. There's also a microwave. The separate toilet & shower were very clean, plenty of toilet rolls supplied along with bottle soaps & towels. Enough handy plug sockets and a very useful extension cable and extra charging plug are also supplied. Lots of thoughtful added extras, beautiful books and artwork adorn the walls. The Hideaway is very welcoming & homely. Our host Anna was very welcoming and informative about the local eateries & area. We took her advice and went to a beautiful old pub in the nearby village of Cobham, called The Leather Bottle,it didn't disappoint. It was once frequented by Charles Dickens and it states he wrote The Pickwick Papers there. A beautiful olde pub with a lot of history attached...and great food. We stayed for 3 nights and could happily have stayed longer, had time allowed. The location is perfect to explore London,Kent & East Sussex We had a busy schedule and didn't have time to enjoy the decking area. Lovely garden furniture provided, surrounded by beautiful blooms from the hanging baskets and garden. Hopefully another time,as we would definitely come back and stay again

There was nothing we didn't like. If we have to say something it would be the size of the bed...but that's more of a personal thing as my husband is 6ft 2 and he doesn't fit into a double bed. We both slept well

"Nicely decorated bijou apartment, well tucked away, so hard to find initially but worth it."

8.0

A very comprehensive DIY breakfast supplied. Big choice of breakfast cereals and jams. Croissants, juice, milk, tea and coffee all supplied. It was actually larger than I expected, based on the Booking photos. Seperate loo and bathroom. Other reviews said the shower was very small, we found it fine, although if you were tall it might be an issue. There is a big step up to actually get into it, so good knees help.

Despite the comprehensive directions supplied, we still managed to miss the entrance first time around. A larger sign at the start of the private road would be a big help. (Especially if arriving after dark.) It's not called the Hideaway for nothing:)
