very friendly host provided us with breakfast, eggs, cereal, very helpful. good location for ferry

a bit expensive but that was because it could sleep four. it’s fairly basic but ideal for ferry stopover.

Nice stocked kitchen even with homemade jam! Very quiet location and sheep in the next yard 😊

Nice location

Not up to modern standards of self catering accommodation. Very limited and basic kitchen. Place smelt damp/musty and really needs a refurb.

The lovely view from the accommodation, the friendly welcome from the host, the fridge and cupboards stocked for us and familiar surroundings having been there before. Also being able to take our dog made the difference.

George was a lovely host! We loved the homemade jams, and all the breakfast foods and treats. Great base for exploring the Trotternish peninsula and within walking distance to the pier, with a restaurant, cafe and shops. Prime location on Skye.

The owner was lovely and friendly. The building was in his garden but we were allowed to use it. Kitchen had everything you would need and some lovely additions from the owner. There were eggs, bread, milk and biscuits with pots of homemade jam.

The living area seemed not to be set out right. Personally i would get rid of the bunk bed and get 2 sofa chairs to make it look more like a living space without losing the capacity. The tv was tiny but you can only watch it from the bed( too far away) as the sofa is facing the wrong way. I would like some privacy screen on the kitchen window as it faces the road ( it ded seem quiet though) but has clear glass and the bathroom is directly off the kitchen.

George is very helpful and responds very quickly to any text message! Best hot shower in the Highlands! The jam and bread was delicious and very thoughtful. View is nice and location is out of the way, but easy access to most of the main sites. Portree is a bit too congested for me :)

Maybe a full length mirror near an outlet for my 16 year old daughter lol!
