"Beautiful place!"

8.0

Loved the apartment, the location, local amenities, comfy bed, cosy place, loved the fireplace. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby! The view from the sofa in the day is gorgeous!!!

Shower pressure was quite bad and the temperature took ages to settle down, almost burnt me and my partner while showering. The cupboard for the washing machine never closed and when the washing machine was running, the whole kitchen was shaking and things fell off the shelves. Although saying this, I would still stay here again.

"Excellent."

10.0

The property was absolutely stunning; the interior was lovely, fresh and modern with very comfortable bed and sofa. It was all very clean. We loved that we could see St Michael’s Mount from the sofa and from the balcony when warmer. The property is a nice 15 minute stroll into Marazion, and close to coastal walks. It had parking too, which was perfect. We had an issue with the wifi whilst there (due to the provider doing works), the host was easily contactable and quick to help. The host also left us delicious scones, clotted cream and jam, with coffee and a bottle of prosecco - this was so thoughtful and added an extra nice touch to the holiday. My partner and I have both already said we would love to come back to this property next year. I cannot fault it - thank you so much.

Absolutely nothing - it was perfect!

"Brilliant property, brilliant location."

10.0

The property is very well equipped and in a fantastic location. You can head towards the Lizard, Lands end and St Ives easily. If you want a stunning walk choose Hayle and its 3 mile beach or park at the Helston boating lake and walk to the Loe Bar via the Penrose Estate. This property will offers views of the Mount from the lounge and terrace. It is Approx a 10 min walk into Marazion which is so much easier than trying to park. Have a meal or drink at the Godolphin Arms which has magnificent views of St Michaels Mount. We can not thank the host enough for the quality of the property. Enjoy.

We went in January which on the whole had fantastic weather for the time of year. So asking for more blue skies would be unreasonable.

"As veteran renters of holiday accommodation all over the UK, Blue Bay has a lot going for it."

8.0

Simple, but effective building layout and a nice aspect towards St Michael's Mount from the balcony. A Morso stove in the lounge, with firelighters and wood. A good level of kitchen and washing equipment and a decent sized fridge/freezer. There were plenty of spares of kitchen and toilet paper plus various cleaning kit. Easy, reliable parking by the door. Re-cycling bags and general other housekeeping kit. Easy access to coastal walks from the property, also a wealth of supermarkets and other shops at Long Rock some 10 minutes by car. Easy access to other routes to the Lizard and Lands End. Good, reliable WiFi.

No instructions for the heated towel rail or hot water tank programmers. Both devices were off at our arrival (2nd week of December 2022) and were not intuitively easy to figure how to set for our convenience. Had to use "constant on" for the towel rail and similar or the booster option for the hot water immersion tank - neither very environmentally friendly options and even when on, hot water rarely made it to the kitchen sink on the 1st floor. The accommodation is located within what seems to be a purpose built main building of many other flats/maisonettes, we visited out of the main season and there were very few other occupants. Nonetheless, we had near neighbours for some 3 nights and they were easily heard through the ceilings and walls. Also, the balconies are all immediately adjacent to each other to take advantage of the views of the bay, consequently there would be no privacy and things would be quite loud during the busy season.
