Kirkaig Lodge

Location and room.

The road to get to the Lodge. You definitely need a gps and be comfortable driving on single lane road. Some communication should be made with visitors if you are to arrive after sunset. We arrived there was still light but could not have done this in the dark.

The room and shower/toilet facilities were excellent...we especially liked the heated floors. The view from the bedroom was spectacular.

The water from the taps, shower, and in the toilet was the color of urine....my spouse kept flushing the toilet because she thought I'd forgot to flush... For the price of the room, we expected a better breakfast...for example, a full Scottish breakfast...but there were no haggis, no mushrooms, no beans, no extra coffee. The lady presented the tray of breakfast, then disappeared, never to be seen again until we went out the door with our suitcases. Friendly, but just not engaged.

The room and bathroom were both immaculate and very clean. The view from the bedroom windows was lovely. Breakfast was super, lots of it and fresh.

Fantastic location, great breakfast, good restaurants fairly close to accommodation, spacious room and bathroom with everything and more that was needed very friendly and accommodating hosts, serene and in the middle of nature

Nice, clean and well furnished B&B in a very private location close to the beach. Lovely breakfast and great hosts.

Brillant location. Breakfast and room great

The building looks great, and there is game room which are great, but too short stay and understandably after dinner the game rooms are occupied easily. Room is nicely decorated and cozy, looking out to a nice view of the bay. Good to have dinner inhouse, the ambience is nice.

Given the price and the positioning of the hotel, would expect upper level guests do not have to drag their bags up themselves. The toilet is a bit noisy and has no windows.
