Kirkaig Lodge

Incredible location with private beach. 20 minutes drive from Achmelvich. Amazing breakfast. Variety of options and all excellent and delicious food. Friendly and inviting staff. Very quiet location. Perfect stay.

The location was breathtaking, with views of the mountains and the Loch, with deer and sheep peppering the hilltops. The Lodge was spacious, welcoming, extremely comfortable, and lovingly furnished. The best, however, was our host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing our room with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, water, and even a dram of whiskey. In the morning, we were welcomed to the breakfast room with a tray of freshly made eggs and bacon, toast, pastries and muffins, juice, milk, and coffee. We absolutely loved our stay and will be visiting again!

Amazing room, great breakfast. The complementary whisky and Highland cows right outside our windows made this place unforgettable! A bit tricky drive to get to the lodge but if you are used to one-lane roads in the Highlands, then it's not an issue at all!

-Lodge is situated in a dead end road: very quiet, no traffic - wild deers 24/7 around the Lodge -scottish Higlandcows -viewpoint -fantastic restaurant in the village -friendly owners -comfortable beds -basic, but delicious breakfast

check out at 11 would be good, but it's every where at 10am in Schottland.

This absolutely gorgeous place was probably the highlight of our trip across west coast of Scotland. Quiet, beautiful place with animals around you and private beach nearby. We are very regretting that we couldn´t stay longer. Many thanks to our very kind hosts.
