Seaview Mansion Apartment - Central Hove with PARKING

The location would have been fabulous had we have chosen to stay.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so that future guests can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the condition of this apartment bore little resemblance to the standard we expected based on the listing and reviews. Upon arrival, the beds had been made, but the bedding was visibly soiled with sweat marks and food stains. The bed linen itself was poor quality and torn in places. The bathroom was particularly concerning. There was visible black mould and mildew around the tiles and ceiling, and the overall level of cleanliness was far below what any paying guest should reasonably expect. It was not a bathroom we felt comfortable using. The kitchen floor tiles were also heavily cracked and damaged, creating what appeared to be a potential safety hazard. The condition of the property was so unacceptable that we decided not to stay. We raised our concerns immediately and attempted to resolve the matter directly with the owner, but the response was disappointing and did not reflect the seriousness of the issues identified. What concerns me most is that the reviews and presentation of the property do not accurately reflect the reality we encountered. Had the accommodation been represented honestly, we would never have booked it. I have used accommodation booking platforms for many years and have never felt the need to leave a review like this. I do so only because I believe other travellers deserve an accurate picture of what they may find on arrival. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

The main beds were presentable and bedrooms tidy

The place felt very run down with a strong smell of damp especially in the bathroom. Bathroom was old and windows were all old too. Covered damp in wall in living room. Carpets lifting throughout.

Fabulous location, lovely spacious apartment with character features. Super comfy bed, plentiful towels, bottled water in bedroom even tea, coffee and fresh milk in the kitchen. Parking on site which is a rarity in Brighton / Hove.

Floor tiles in kitchen could do with replacing

The property is in the perfect location for a trip to Brighton. The property is so comfortable and large and a lovely view of the Sea. The host was superb and friendly giving us very good restaurant choices. It was a very easy check in and out and very handy to have a free parking space. I would definitely use this property again.

There was nothing not to like about this property.

Like staying in a very comfortable luxury home. Nice and quiet. Beautifully decorated. Very spacious. Sea view! Quiet location. Private car parking space. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
