Allen Luxury Apartment

Excellent location, apartment had everything we needed.

Beds squeaked a lot and a little uncomfortable, in one of the rooms bed was in front of wardrobe so cldnt use it.

ALLAN was so helpful and very helpful would stay again 💯 very quite aswell.

Building was a good location itself but the whole setup is poor, comfy beds, nice host

Nothing 'luxury' about this apartment, nice decor but dated, mould in showers, not enough cooking utensils, no pans or anything, cooker writing worn so its 20 min to figure out what nob turns what hob on, balcony is dangerous with flooring broken and sticking out and big holes, sofa hard as rock. The biggie..... the craziest access i have ever experienced, you have to meet the landlord to collect keys to apartment but your not given key/fob to enter the carpark as its on an app on his phone so if say you wanted to go for a drive at 3am you would have to text him and hope he wakes up to press his app and let you out, then do the same to get back in (We were up and out for 7.20 and he did let us out straight away but seems crazy to have to message him every time. There is a key pad so not sure why the code just isnt provided, absolutely nuts way of doing things. Finding the garage is confusing and even though there are directions the sat nav doesnt take you there so its not obvious in the dark. Landlord arranged to meet us but we got stuck in the one way system/bus lanes in town so kept being directed round in circles, landlord just kept peppering me with messages "what time" "are you here yet" whilst im trying to drive but then drove off and gave me another time to meet when we did arrive so I was waiting outside the building for him to go collect his children (which i totally understand but not a good way to run a business, I have kids too!)

Calling it a 'luxury' apartment is a slight stretch, but it is a good, clean flat in an excellent location. Just a few minutes' walk from Coventry station and right in the heart of the city centre, the positioning really is hard to fault. The host is excellent and the flat has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily consider returning on a future visit.

A couple of areas worth noting: the kitchen could do with some additional cutlery and crockery, and the bedroom wardrobes would benefit from a clean. It is also worth flagging that some of the information on the Booking.com listing is quite misleading. There are no restaurants, bars, spas, or gyms in the building as suggested; it is a residential block of flats, and the listing would benefit from being updated to reflect this accurately.
