No. 3 Tomlinsons Apartments

A really lovely apartment and very well equipped. In a lovely location, with several local shops and also excellent fish and chips! Plenty of parking available on street outside.

Only issue we had was connecting tv to Wi-Fi. Took multiple attempts.

The apartment is absolutely lovely. It's beautifully decorated, with modern features, but still retains a homely feel. It has everything you need. It's in cemtral Rothbury with on street parking right outside. It;s located 30 minutes drive from Alnwick and the incredible coast, and minutes from the Cragside Estate. There's also a bus into Newcastle, if you didn't want to drive. This is the second time we've visited and we will visit again. Thank you to the hosts for the lovely welcome gift too.

Great place with absolutely everything supplied that we could need.

The main bedroom mattress and bedding were sublime. I tried to find the label for the mattress and would welcome any advice on that. Like sleeping on a dry warm cloud. The flat is smartly decorated and beautifully appointed with toiletries supplied and a fabulous walk in shower. It's also very quiet, including internal doors, so someone can have utter peace in a bedroom whilst the telly is on in the living room. There are cleaning supplies, including an airer and two tower fans for warmer weather.

We struggled with an intermittent wifi signal throughout our three night stay. The host was quick to respond to our query, with an offer to help us log in, but sadly logging in wasn't the problem. It was the system staying connected, which impacted our ability to watch streamed tv. As the heating is controlled by a Nest system, we also worry that it would be impacted. Finally, parking outside was a little competitive with other guests.

It was like home from home. A perfect apartment . We only had one issue, which was dealt with promptly.

Parking was in the streets, which didn't affect us.
