Lovely little apartment, Lovely sitting area and would gladly be back

Clean and very well furnished and equipped. Lovely powerful shower.

Modern, clean, comfortable, central flat. Great communication from the owner.

There are hall stairs to flat on 1st floor which was fine for us, but could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

It was central to the activities we wanted to do. My ancestors came from the area and I was keen to see where they had lived.

The location and presentation of this property were both excellent. Everything we needed for our 5 night stay was provided and Martyn was excellent with communication and assistance with gaining access.

Modern clean, and well equipped kitchen, lovely walk in shower, great location in Melrose.

Personally found the bed too soft, and the settee was starting to sink. On a general note, the only setback was the lack of shelving for toiletries, but we made use of the drawer underneath the basin.

The WiFi connection didn’t reach around the whole property. Localised to the living room area.

We enjoyed a lot our two nights at the Esk. The appartment was super well equipped, very clean and everything was almost new. Totally recommended!

Great flat and location is great for parking and access to main street

WiFi doesn't work, which wouldn't normally be an issue but the signal is so bad in Melrose it would have been really useful to have

Location was perfect for exploring Melrose and the Abbey - shame the abbey itself is still half inaccessible. We were lucky to find parking nearby in Buccleuch St although it was quite busy. Visited Trimontium museum too which was excellent

The weather! Also it would be helpful to have written instructions for the cooker/ microwave
