Church Cottage Barn

The host is lovely, very communicative, great instructions on how to get to the barn, kind and pleasant The home is very clean although very old , the sheets were perfectly ironed and bathrooms were spotless

It was very cold outside on the night we went, although the house has central heating we had to make due with 2 small heaters that blow hot air, it was eventually ok in the bedroom but the hallway, the small bathroom for the 3rd guest, even the front room itself were cold.( the was a gas fireplace that did help but we did not leave it overnight because of safety concerns) Because the house is old although very charming there is a strong smell of old wood and mildew The sofa bed is not really comfortable for an adult but could be for a small child

Really lovely and lots of thoughtful touches

Heating in main bedroom was not warm enough and we all ended up sleeping in the living room but that turned out to be fun.

Located in a lovely, quiet little village. The barn was great and had all the necessary facilities (including towels, soaps/shower gel/shampoo). The garden in front was beautiful and had a little pond with fish. Our children loved it. Angela was very accommodating and gave us great recommendations what to do in the local area. Angela offered breakfast the first morning and then we arranged breakfast ourselves the following day. Everything was great- thank you so much Angela!

The the sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable to sleep in but I suppose that is to be expected (as most of them are not so comfortable).
