Stirling Central Apartment

Lovely apartment, the block, however, smelled like people were using drugs in the other flats. There was no wifi, and the signall wasn't 6 our down Internet was barely working. Cooking,cleaning, and bathing facilities were great, and the location was central to everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location

The close stairway to the property is absolutely filthy, littered with rubbish, really dirty and stinks. It is along a side lane of a pub which is pretty dark and I feel that should be mentioned in the description. Wouldn’t want to walk down there on my own. Very dirty in that area which property has no real control over so feel that if an effort was made with the close this would detract from this, unfortunately the close is just as bad, if not worse. The level of cleanliness within the property is also well below what you would expect. Front of fridge was filthy, had to clean it. Window sills dirty and covered with cobwebs, carpets dirty. Overall the entire property was not very clean.

DO NOTH BOOK! This apartment is not fit for habitation. There was water pouring through the ceiling and through the light fittings. The TV wasn't tuned in and the wifi didn't work. None of these situations were remedied and calls remained unanswered. We moved out of the apartment mid-stay as it was a hazzard. The owners refused to reimburse for the missing days. Stay away!!

Quick refund and also a good location for central Stirling

Unfortunately on my visit the property was very tired looking and not representative of the listing. Neighbours were loud all through the night. Weed and cigarette smoke smell. Super uncomfortable bed. Lock hanging off the outer door of the building - all in all not what I was expecting

Was very central to Stirling Castle and a few other place worth visiting, it had a very nice pub next door with bands and you could dance !

1- had lots of trouble with trying to pay them even though I booked with a credit card 2 mos . previously and they had to of had the information on record but couldn’t put my credit card through even tried another cc. and same problem plus the person I was booking with couldn’t put her card through with the office either , kept rejecting until the office finally did something different and my original card went through thus were able to get the lock code number to get in the apartment !! Key lockbox wouldn’t open and that was horrible to have to deal with after all else !! this ended up being very stressful after a long travel of getting there and not knowing if we were going to be able to stay then even though I booked it at least 8 weeks earlier!! The hallway had poor lighting and the staircase was very narrow ,the alley getting into the side door had huge puddles you had no choice but to walk through! Though the « phone staff » / office were as helpful as they could be it all felt very impersonal and was hard for both parties , us and them to overcome supposedly easy tasks which made it more problematic !

It's a lovely comfortable flat in a great location for a good price.it was clean and fresh and attractive

The WiFi didn't work so we had no access to the TV and limited phone access ( my friend was from Spain and had limited data)

The fact that they take a security deposit without a prewarning. Then do not respond to you. The kitchen is dated and rusted, did not feel very hygenic. You need to walk down a ditry ally way to find the door, which is a struggle to open. Then walk into a cave of spiral stairs. I did not use the facility as I did not feel comfortable as a solo female to have to access the property at night.

The entrance to the building was horrible, a very ugly gate, poorly maintained, everything was very dirty. The entrance to the apartment is between two rubbish bins which I find completely disrespectful and unhygienic, when it rains it forms a huge water pit with mud, every time I When I went out and came back, I had to pass by and step with my new shoes and my suitcases in a puddle of water with mud, (as I had no other alternative) this was very unpleasant, I think the property should improve the entrance to the building, put lighting in the stairs and cleaning them which is the least landlords could do to make tenants happy

Location great nice and handy for eating out and shops. Also close to the castle.

Outside entrance was muddy and pools of water to walk threw. Luckily had walking boots on. Upstairs residents a little bit thumping around. No baking tray for oven.

The flat was comfortable and clean.

I have already sent feedback and photos. The flat was fine - if a little tired in places with peeling wallpaper and water stains on the ceilings. It was clean and well appointed. But: - The flat is down a filth, unlit alley way - you have to walk through detritus and overflowing bins. It is also behind a pub and so open to people coming down after a skin-full - the entrance is dirty and full of dropped paper and an electric box which looks well below H&S minimum - the key to the lower door does not work - so I was out in the rain in the middle of the night with no access. Luckily someone in another flat let me in. This is not safe or acceptable especially for single females - When I could not find the keys on arrival, I called pillow partners twice and e-mailed - not response at all to this day - I have sent feedback to two e-mails - no response
