Great location for the Great South Run.

The apartment was noisy due to the other occupants in the building apartments. The first night we were awoken at 5am by shouts of someone we think going to work and the second night woken at midnight to a couple arguing and women screaming for couple hours. Made such a restful stay and just what was needed prior to Great South Run.

"GREAT PLACE"

Where do I start from.... The apartment was very clean, facilties were all working. It has everything you would need. It's street parking, but the hosts provided more than enough parking permits. The restrictions is only from 4:30-6:30 PM. We never had any problems finding a space to park. The apartment is close to EVERYTHING, the beach and shops. The hosts were very thoughtful, left milk in the fridge, beach towels which came in handy. We stayed for 5 days, so the clothes airer was really appreciated, even though the washing machine can be used to dry your laundry too. We met the host on site. She provided us with a cot, because she saw our baby. Bathroom was clean, great water pressure. We live in a house with stairs, so we had no problem with the stairs that lead to the children's bedroom. Portsmouth is a really great place, and this is the kind of apartment you would want to come back to, after a day of exploring. The lounge area allows us to watch a movie together as a family. This is easily one of the best places I have stayed.

NOTHING... Everything was great. Great value for money.
