The sea views were brilliant

It looked like it had only been cleaned in all the main areas that you’d walk through or see at first glance. Corners of rooms on the floor and along the edges of kitchen cabinets on the floor were filthy and had clearly visible crumbs, bits of fluff etc as though proper, thorough cleaning hadn’t taken place for some time. There were quite a few areas that really need redecorating too. In the double bedroom that has the Jack and Jill bathroom, when we had the window open it blew huge flakes of paint off the bubbled paint areas on the ceiling which all fell into our open suitcase of clothes. In the dining area there was an ottoman style piece of furniture under the windows and it had a yellow throw covering it. As we sat on the ottoman we found the brown leather-look coating it had on it was all coming off. We ended up with loads of pieces of it fallen all over the floor which were getting stuck to our feet and walked all around the flat until we realised where it was coming from and what was happening. We assume the yellow throw was to hide that it was all coming off but as soon as you sit on it to look at the views out of the window, the throw moves and bits fall onto the floor.

mattress in upstairs bedroom sunk in the middle so wasn’t comfortable, also toilet upstairs had problems flushing
