The Cowgatehead Residence

The place is beautiful clean and very well located, waking distance from anything you will need to see in town. A really excellent place to stay visiting Edinburgh.

The problem we had is the water pressure who is not enough to have a shower.

The location is perfect and very convenient to travel, the room is clean and tidy, and towels and toilet papers are full-supplied and the staff here is nice and patient.

There're only two litter bins and the one in toilet is tiny which is a little inconvenient for us. And there's no lift, we got a lot of luggage and needed to carry them ourselves for floors.

Great location, very very comfortable main Bed, solid floors so you can't hear other residents at all. I would 100% consider staying again if I visited Edinburgh again.

Mentioned in other reviews, this property does need comfortable sofas. Fold away beds are very comfortable, but with one having to be in the lounge kids going to bed early was not possible. I'd stay here again, but as a couple, or with other adults.

Great location with stunning views. Comfortable beds, and a nice living area.

Cleanliness and location were always going to be a big priority for us as a family and these were well met .

They use another system on top of Booking, where: - instructions are there - you need to contact them through that page (don’t answer Booking chat) - they charge a deposit fee (??), that must be paid in a link outside Booking. To avoid this kind of stuff is exactly why I use Booking, I don’t want to talk/pay/navigate in another platform apart from that

The most amazing location, absolutely perfect, seconds away from Victoria Street (Diagon Alley), 10 minutes walk from the castle, 5 minutes walk to The Royal Mile. Surrounded by quaint shops and some fantastic restaurants. Gorgeous views from the windows. Full kitchen with all equipment needed. Nice bathroom. Tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, shower gel all provided. The rollaway beds were extremely comfortable (not sure about the bed I wasn’t sleeping in it lol)

Honestly not much not too like, if I was being picky the 2 sofas were uncomfortable. There is a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment but we were aware of that before we arrived.
