Delightful & Picturesque Modern Detached Apartment, Next to Chester Zoo, Near Park and Ride to City Centre

As we had booked for the zoo The hosts were really helpful and friendly The apartment was immaculately clean and well laid out cannot fault any of it We will definitely book here again and definitely recommend to anyone wanting a perfect. Lovely location, clean, quiet, well equiped

4 people is possible but be aware that it's more for a family.

Location location location! That was why we picked it initially but honestly it’s fabulous. Literally cannot say anything else! Spotless. Beautifully appointed. Friendly and accessible host. Did I mention the location?!

Nothing!

This property is literally walking distance from the zoo, we timed it at 11 minutes walk door to door. The apartment is small and open plan, with everything you could need for a short self catering stay. We managed to arrange a grocery delivery for essential items and even tried just eat (a novelty as we live in a rural area) and they found the place easily. The nearest train station I’m Bache and the number 1 bus stops across the road at the Wheatsheaf and goes to Chester city centre. This accommodation is perfect for a small family as they offer a double bed and a sofa bed and both were comfy. It was also immaculate and the host who lives in the main building next door was friendly but not overly involved. There is a swing seat just outside to sit on but we didn’t use it as we went for nightly walks. We really loved the skylight windows and the shower was divine!

The steep and low attic ceiling is kinda 😬 and my husband cracked his head a few times. 6’ + tall folk may need to be warned about that. Also the fridge makes a sudden humming sound at night that jolted us all awake, but ceased pretty quick once we worked out what it was. Another visitor mentioned it in a review so we were waiting for it. Not really a negative point for the place, just a point of reference for others. It didn’t have any negative impact on the stay at all.

Lovely accommodation with plenty of space, the bed was really comfy and a good night's sleep was had by all. The kitchen area had everything that was needed. Plenty of safe parking. Fab location near both Chester Zoo which you can walk to in 15 minutes and the park and ride.

The living area sofa was a little soft for our liking but that is personal taste. We didn't start in the best way as info for the accommodation was sent via the booking.com app which we didn't have so ended up having a slightly awkward conversation via the ring doorbell regards how to get in. It would be a nice touch if local info was left at the accommodation for the walk to the zoo, local pubs and services. Also not keen on the little hotel style plastic miniature milk pods. We are not trying to take away from our stay just trying to help for other guests future stays.

Property was a perfect location for Chester zoo. It was clean, fresh and great value for money
