Location in brilliant, value for money is great, overall great experience, will be back again

Pauline and Colin provided not only an amazing service, but also a personal service which is rare these days. Colin helped us with any questions with his local knowledge. The place was spotless and there were a few amenities left for us which was greatly appreciated.

We didn’t stay longer

Very spacious, having two floors and multiple rooms was quite the change from your typical hotel room, really made it feel like a home away from home. Having a kitchen with appliances was very nice.

Internet wasn't entirely great. Keeping the place warm was quite difficult even with the heating being on almost constantly when being in the apartment. Mattress on bed could do with replacing.

The Ceral breakfast was a lovely gesture, There was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jam, snacks, cheese, crackers,and beverages..and toiletries in the apartments,its the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The location is in a beautiful quiet area with all the amenities within walking distance and there's a lovely hotel/restaurant just around the corner that cook the most delicious food ie lunch/dinner its one of my favourite places to eat and the staff are so friendly and helpful too, I found no fault in the apartment i was staying in and would 💯 recommend anyone to stay here in the Downshire arms apartments you won't be disappointed 10/10

You really need a car to get you about as there is no other means of transport unfortunately,. That wouldn't matter if you just wanted to stay in the area,. There are places you could visit from the brochures that were on display in the apartments but you'd need a car as I'm not sure of the distance/location etc. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the locals are very friendly too, can't wait to go back.
