We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be more pleased. The house is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with total peace and quiet — we slept incredibly well. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and a lovely surprise was waiting for us in the form of a Welcome Pack. The location is stunning — true countryside, with rabbits running around and birdsong in the background. It’s a perfect place to simply arrive, relax, and truly unwind. Highly recommended!

Everything was great - our 2nd stay here and The Retreat was lovely. The peace and quiet was just what we needed and the location near Rye was great. We had lovely weather too! The welcome goodies and Prosecco for our anniversary were much appreciated. Thank you Lucy and Stuart! We will definitely return!
