The Garage

The unit was compact but well kitted out. The bed was really comfy. It was on a quiet road with a Co-op store just nearby. Parking was right outside which was really useful.

An outside light over the door might have helped. Also, and I know it's a seasonal thing, the place initially smelt a tiny bit musty.

I booked The Garage as a little break from a hectic life. The property is well kitted out with all the basics, Small tv, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, coffee/tea/sugar in the cupboard and Yana was nice enough to leave some milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Shower is lovely, good pressure nice and hot. Comfy sofa bed. Had my dog with me and we both loved walking around the plantation down the road (bring wellies this time of year). A nice escape for a couple of days. Thank you Yana :)

Not a dislike - Tv could do with being put up on the wall or on a higher table just for ease of viewing as it’s a little low on the current table.

Comfortable bed with extra pillows in cupboard. Great bathroom with good shower and heated towel rail. Sufficient crockery and cutlery. Table and chairs for dining, lots of storage, bedside lights, TV and free Wi-Fi. Microwave, kettle and toaster. Surprise gift for our anniversary. Thank you so much.

No settee. The bed wasn’t convertible so nowhere comfortable to sit. No heating in the main room. No hob.

Ideal location for a stop off on the way to Jersey with our dog. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful giving us guidance on dog walks and pubs. The garage is small but perfectly adequate for a couple with a large dog.

Perfect location for me and excellent, friendly hosts Warm, with easy to control heating Very Clean Comfortable Pet friendly Fridge and all basic kitchen utensils etc Excellent shower I've stayed before so I was very keen to book here again

The weather! Seriously, there is nothing that I didn't like

It was private and clean and adequate for a few nights

It was a bit dowdy could do with cheering up and maybe some net in front window as its facing other houses so need to keep the blind down making it very dark

Milk and biscuits were provided. There was no breakfast option

Not a dislike per se but it is worth noting there is a lack of space to store/hang clothes, which might be useful to know if you're planning on staying for a longer period of time

I've stayed here a few times and always pleased. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location for bus travel to Bournemouth or Poole. Co-op on the corner of the street and good dog walks. Nice walk into Wimborne Minster. The hosts are lovely, friendly, and very helpful.
