PieNook

I didn't really know what to expect from Pienook, but it certainly didn't disappoint. What a lovely little getaway. Milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar, hot chocolate etc, breakfast basket, and a little stash of tasty biscuits. Little box of emergency essentials in the bathroom. Beautifully done out. We just loved it and would definitely stay again if it was just the 2 of us. Owners daughter came and introduced herself to us the 1st morning and had a little chat (we felt bad that we'd kept her up while waiting for us to arrive the night before as we got there later than expected, but there she was at the window to tell us where to park).

Not really didn't likes, more observations. The sofa bed is very hard and uncomfortable, so with this in mind I'd say Pienook is more suited to a couple rather than a family (rhe main bed is very comfy). Lighting in the parking area and up the steps would be useful, I suppose we really noticed this because we were back very late every night (there are outside lights once you get up the steps which were great).

Exceptional! The accomodation was such a wonderful surprise. It was so we'll presented and cosy. Lovely sweet setting, everyone we met were so welcoming. Perfect base for us to explore the area. So peaceful..The owner couldn't have been nicer. We really hope we get to stay again.

A picturesque neighborhood. Convenience of access, silence, nice hostess, easy contact, cozy house, amazing experiences, beautiful views.

Pienook is the most beautiful little get away , you cannot beat the surroundings so serene. Lisa matt and family are so welcoming & friendly, great host's. Waking up listening to bird song , goats & sheep . Lovely little village location but also close to coast ( so long as you drive ) but fantastic country walks if not. We will definitely be staying again and will highly recommend to all our friends & family. Thank you karen & Mick 😊

Pienook is a lovely place to stay to get away from busy life. Has everything you need and is really nicely set up and decorated, very cute and nice quiet location.

Unfortunately not very well organised when we arrived, made to feel we where in the wrong when we arrived at 2:15pm, even though it was agreed we will arrive between 2-3pm. We had been stood around waiting before hand was only by chance someone turned up. Lastly It would be nice to have a sign, to make finding it easier.

The bed was comfortable. Tv/netflix . Very good. The shower room was nice The layout was really nice and quaint. Well thought out.

Little or no cooking facillities. No microwave.,toaster. An electric hotplate but only a saucepan. No bbq available , even though before we stayed after initial booking i was informed all ok and very poor negative commumication from the owner. Only saw the daughter on the first evening after that saw no one for anything. Very bad. Would not stay there again . Was upsetting and ruined the holiday. On advertisememt it states cooking facilities. False advertising. If we had known. We would have not stayed their. Will not be going back . Or recommend to friends

I think the host could have been more accessible, there was no microwave to warm food and we could not put on the hotplate, knocked on the door of the host multiple times, at different times, but no response
