Smithy Cottage

The staff were amazing and looked after us so well. Smithy Cottage was very clean and comfortable, a lovely property.

Clean, well-equipped cottage in a great location - perfect for an overnight stay en route to visiting friends nearby. Very handy having the pub (which does excellent food) just across the car-park. Appreciated having our own private parking space outside the cottage.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped cottage. Very comfortable bed and large shower. Adjacent to the Horseshoes Inn a few metres away with an excellent restaurant. They even delivered a full English breakfast to the cottage this morning ☺️. Thank you Tom, it was excellent as always. We have been to the cottage many times and will continue to do so as it caters for all of our needs. The staff at The Horseshoes are always extremely friendly, polite and professional 😊

Lovely cottage, comfy, well designed, great location near the canal. Good to have the pub next door with good food.

Struggling to think of anything ! A couple of shelves in the bathroom for wash bags would have been good.

Great location and very clean and comfortable

Everything! Clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped cottage,with private parking,close to a scenic canal,and a friendly pub with good food.

The only downside is the noise from the nearby busy road, and I expect it could get even more noisy in good weather as there are several outdoor tables close to the cottage. Otherwise it is a real gem.
