Oxfordshire Living - The Spencer Apartment - Woodstock

Spacious apartment with off street parking right in the centre of Woodstock with a view of the town square and the two resident ducks. Pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, a CoOp supermarket and lovely shops right on the doorstep. Blenheim Palace is a short walk away. The apartment was perfect for our four night stay in Woodstock.

This is a comment rather than a didn’t like. More than one set of keys would have made life a little easier especially if more than one couple is staying in the apartment. For a short term stay bathroom and kitchen cleaning supplies would have been appreciated.

Well managed and convenient

The check out time of 10 am is too early with cleaners at the door at 10.05. This issue would actually prevent us booking again. 11am is a more standard check out time. Otherwise the place was fantastic

The entrance was rather unpleasant with front door tucked behind bins and not too nice at night time. Apartment rather dusty and a cobweb in the hall - given the steep cleaning fee had hoped for better

A spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped apartment in a great location. Giving a great feel for life in sleepy Woodstock and perfect for visiting Blenheim Palace.

Everything !! Just perfect

Great location, quiet, good size for family of 4.

Fantastic location overlooking the town hall and the marketplace. Everything you might need is within a 5-minute walk. It’s a well-designed apartment with comfortably furnished and generously proportioned rooms. There's a large well-equipped kitchen with views across Angel Yard to fields and woods beyond the town. Woodstock itself has everything you could want from a small town – plenty of nice pubs that serve food, independent cafes and shops, including a great little independent bookshop, and Louisa Maybury’s amazing textile shop. A code and fob was provided for the gate to the main street. This is an ideal base for visiting Oxford (25 minutes away), Blenheim (5 minutes on foot), and the Cotswolds, but it’s also a great place to just relax and enjoy the town. We plan to return.

The table in the living room was too wobbly to use, but we ate in the kitchen anyway.
