Tigh Beag Pod with Hot Tub

Perfectly located atop the cliffs of Oban, the accommodation offered a memorable stay. While the room is compact, it’s incredibly well-equipped with everything you need for comfort and convenience. The space is thoughtfully arranged, making the most of every inch. The view is absolutely stunning — a true highlight of the experience. The host was warm, welcoming, and very attentive.

High quality of finishings. A lot of thoughtfulness and generosity in the extras provided - much appreciated.

Once the sofa bed was opened, the room was very small and with the suitcases out, one had to climb over objects to get to the bathroom or get out of the pod. It was 28 degrees outside and there was no umbrella to shield us from the sun on the lovely little patio. Inside, the pod was 35 degrees and there was no temperature control, so we sat on the grass between the pod and the house which was not that comfortable. I would have liked a second pillow each.

The location is incredible with the town and sea views being stunning. The pod is certainly small but beautifully appointed with everything being thought of. The level of items provided was very high end. There is a nearby cupboard for the use of the pod occupier where you could leave luggage, coats, boots etc. This was very useful given the size of the pod.

I would have gladly swept the floor of the pod had the adjacent cupboard included a broom and/or dustpan and brush.

The view is obviously the best part! Every morning and every evening, we had the BEST view of Oban. Lorraine was very accommodating, providing an extra storage space if needed, plenty of beverage options for coffee and tea drinkers, and it was all very clean. Its a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the monument and into town. The patio outside was perfect for not-so rainy days to sit and enjoy the view as well. Great space, and very responsive and kind host!

The pull-out couch wasn't very comfy, but my husband and I knew that going in. Just something to keep in mind if you have a bad back. With that said, even with 4 nights there, we barely had any issues!

Lovely owners came to say hi and to make sure we were comfortable and knew where everything was. Had a great selection of tea and coffee. Included a range of glasses in cupboards for whisky lovers. Gorgeous view from the window to wake up to and the fact that they included a hot water bottle was such a nice touch. Great location and comfy bed with heated floor and heating in rooms. Great we could logged into our Netflix account to watch our programs.

Only slight downside being that it's a studio and the bed is a fold out sofa bed, so you have to put it back to make room to walk around. And not a load of space for luggage in studio.
