The Cabin at Easter Arr

The cabin was cosy and warm, parking was close by and although I did not need them knowing Robin and Celia were around if we needed was really reassuring. Also the local area around the cabin is breathtaking.

Fabulous location, spacious, clean, and dog friendly The owners were very welcoming and unexpectedly provided bread, milk, and breakfasting items, not to mention a supply of toiletries in case you forget anything.

Nothing

The host met us at the door and gave us a little tour and told us where the keys were, there was orange juice, a small thing of milk, and bread and cereal which was great for the first day before I got my own shopping. Very quiet and the host told me several times to just ask any questions. I asked about local walks and they were happy to help. Great location if you want away from everything but still close enough to Nairn. Comfortable bed and spacious little cabin. Will definitely be visiting again!

Not a bad thing but it would be nice if it was clearer that there are two cabins next to each other as I was worried about making noise when another family was beside me. Again not a bad thing but just something to note

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful location. Everything needed was provided by very friendly host who made us feel at home. Great facilities, comfy bed and superb shower.

Nothing to dislike

Great location. Great hosts. Very clean and well equipped. Mirror in bedroom that makes you look taller and slimer.

Leaving

Exceptionally peaceful and in a beautiful setting. Was provided with everything you’d need, really appreciated having some essentials in fridge and cupboard already waiting. Very comfortable bed, good shower pressure and plenty hot water. Especially enjoyed the fire pit one evening,that was a nice touch. All staff very friendly and helpful

No smart tv

Very clean, had everything we needed. Extras such as cereals and jams, food in the fridge was all perfect. We looked forward to our own private area as advertised to sit out and look at the lake, as well as view the lake from the kitchen window as advertised

Needed to be able to park nearer. Very poor communication on directions. Very cool welcome and reception. We waited at the cabin to be received by someone as instructed but no one appeared. Robin appeared when we were going out the next day. Guessing it was Robin as he never introduced himself. Fire pit wasn’t cleaned out ready for us. The private area to sit by the lake is bang opposite the hosts garden so it didn’t feel appropriate to sit there. We didn’t feel welcome at all, although the reviews state how good the hosts were. It’s not as it is advertised, unless they simply didn’t like us! This needs to be improved to be able to cater for all guests, young, old, and from all backgrounds. Very disappointing.

Great wee cabin, we had all we needed. Lucky to see deer outside kitchen window and birds of prey in nearby woodland. Very generous welcome pack. Location peaceful, close to Nairn town and beaches. It was perfect for us. Thank you for lovely stay.
