lovely location, loved the log burner

The instructions said the owners would pop by on our arrival. We wanted to get straight into our dressing gowns and relax so this made us a bit less relaxed, not knowing when we would be visited. Maybe we could have popped over instead then we could have done it as soon as we'd arrived?

Great location, well equipped with washing machine, good water pressure in the shower etc and great extra touches like coffee, milk, toiletries, binoculars left out to borrow. Nice of Lindsay to pop round and check everything was ok.

Exceptional weather but it was hot in the bedroom and being 6’2’’ the bedroom was a little tight.

The comfortable accommodation. Everything we needed. Beautiful view. Visit from the owner and ask if all was well. Kindness and care appreciated.

Nothing ! Maybe anyone with poor mobility would not like the bedroom being upstairs but there is a very solid handrail.

So many thoughtful details, from a pint of milk ready in the fridge, coat hooks and pulley for drying clothes to pretty velux windows upstairs and the patio outside with views across to Holy Isle.

The accommodation is situated in an amazing location just a short walk from the town. On site parking for a car and WiFi available. There is a log burner for those colder winter days and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The views from the living room and bedroom are amazing and outside there is a stream that runs alongside the house.

We absolutely loved the log burner, and thanks so much to Lindsay and Charlie for setting the fire up for us and keeping the place warm while we were out exploring beautiful Arran. It was very nice, clean and cosy/quaint. We loved having a teapoy and access to all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed to whip up a cooked breakfast. We truly couldn't have had a more welcoming and comforting space to rest in. It's in a great location with brilliant views and lots of local wildlife, including seals nearby. 10/10 not only would we stay again, we aim to !

Lovely snug cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed being out and about in Arran and this accommodation in Lamlash was perfect. It was so comfortable and clean . The hosts were lovely and so helpful, they kindly set up and lit the log burner each day , toasty warm
