"Very good"

It was a perfect cottage for 2 with seaviews just what we had booked. Wood burner. Great having privé parking place. It was in walking distance from town & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was perfect in every way. Firstly it was spotlessly clean - immaculate. The location was absolutely superb, really lovely and quiet with a gorgeous view and surroundings. Excellent facilities, everything you could possibly need. Lovely comfy cosy bed. I cannot fault it in any way.

"Ragner’s rest was a lovely retreat with excellent views from all windows across the bay."

Directions to property was spot on everything was ready for our arrival lovely and toasty with the log fire burning. It ticked all the boxes that we needed for our short break away. Lindsay and Charlie were perfect hosts and kept us supplied with extra logs. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and will be recommending to family and friends.

"Exceptional hosts who went over and above."

The lovely host, Lindsay, contacted us before our stay to let us know that the ferry wouldn’t be running because of forecast high winds. We were oblivious. She suggested a different route a day early and gave us a free night to allow this to happen. When we made it she was there to greet us and immediately made us feel at home, with the log burner lit. The property is perfect, in a lovely village with restaurants, pubs, shops and a kayak experience, Otter’s Tail, all walkable.

There was absolutely nothing I’d change.

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable, with everything available in the kitchen and bathroom for your needs. A seat in front of the log burner just added to the relaxing atmosphere, while looking out at the view along with few red squirrels popping up at the window.
