The perfect place for a Peaks weekend with great hikes and cosy pubs straight from the door. Also good Trainline access

Lovely little place to stay. Super cosy. Everything we needed was there. Perfect location for hiking the peaks (mam tor from your door and other places in driving distance). Train station also 5 mins walk away into Sheffield, Manchester and other Peak District walking locations.

The front door lock was a little dodgy and took a good 3-4 mins each time to get in. It needs fixing. Was a little annoying when it was freezing cold with a 1 year old and just wanted to get inside.

Property was clean and cosy! Hosts were helpful before arrival, we didn’t need to contact them whilst on site but they still checked in! Location is perfect for walks, in a quaint little village. Would return when we come back to the area!

We had a great time in this lovely, clean and quiet property which is really handily placed for the train station, pubs and Pennine Way. It's well equipped with everything you would need and I have already recommended it to family and friends.

I absolutely loved how close the two pubs were and the lovely place you could go for breakfast.

The noise from downstairs Saturday morning around half 8 was quite distracting but we were up and around so it didn’t wake us up as such, it definitely would have if we were still sleeping. All in all a fabulous stay thank you so much for having us.

Nothing

It is a beautifully presented and appointed apartment, right in the middle of Edale, very close to walks (Kinder), pubs, cafe and shop. And wonderfully quiet (church bells, a distant train and birds). Lots of parking available onsite (great for summer when it gets very busy). Just a short drive from nearby towns (Hope, Castleton and Hathersage) too.

It was a little warm, and I couldn't work out how to turn the thermostat down...but really only a small issue, as we just switched off radiators!
