"It was everything we wanted in a home away from home."

9.0

The property was clean and tidy when we arrived. A well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings throughout. Operating instructions for the appliances are provided in a binder. Their little library has lots of reading materials as well as the history and info about the region. A quiet location with views of the Firth of Fourth and a grassy playing field. The property has little extra touches, such as binoculars to scan the Firth. A good location from which to explore the Fife Coastal Path passing just below the property or, for access to other parts of the trail, the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away. The Harbourmaster Café serving wonderful lunches is close by.

There was nothing to complain about.

"We stayed here again as it was close to family but probably wouldn’t stay again."

Beautiful view and everything you need.

We stayed 7 years ago and it is looking a bit tired. The carpet needs a clean.

"Great location, very comfortable and great for walking/swimming"

9.0

A short stroll down the hill to a gorgeous harbour with a cafe as well as a beach for a morning swim, exellently placed for the Fife coastal path, great to have Ravenscraig park on the doorstep

TV controls proved a tad challenging, ended up just watching Prime through my account

"A great place to stay"

10.0

I loved the history of the place, it was very spacious, peaceful, comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. And the view out of the bay window facing the Forth, was fantastic.

There was nothing I disliked.

"The accommodation was just right for our needs."

9.0

We were not on holiday but visiting someone undergoing end of life care. The accommodation was our sanctuary during the stay and the views from the windows over the First of Forth exceptional. It was spacious, warm and welcoming. The electric heating was efficient and simple to manage. Although we did not use the kitchen area extensively it was well provided for and the dishwasher was a bonus. Had we stayed longer then the washing machine and other facilities would have been of great benefit. We would usethe accommodation again when visiting Kirkcaldy.

There was no designated off-road or on-road car parking . The small car park adjacent to the property was invariably full. We did however find parking alongside the green and other options were available at the harbour. So an inconvenience rather than a problem.
