Wallaby’s

Travelled with family and used Wallaby's as a base to explore the area. The house was warm and comfortable with a high standard of facility. We were very pleased with our choice and would recommend Wallaby's for your stay.

There was nothing that we did not like.

Wonderful location for walking, close to beaches. Very quiet. The layout worked really well for us as a family, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs for the children and a bedroom and bathroom (with powerful shower) downstairs for us. And whilst it’s not an ensuite, it feels like one as it’s directly across the hall. The owners provided a welcome pack and had thought of the little extras: washing liquid capsules, toiletries, dishwasher tablets, kitchen foil and clothes pegs for the washing line. Great WiFi. There’s a well-stocked Spar in the village but we arranged a Tesco order which arrived in a 2-hour window at a pick-up point, a 3 minute drive from the house. Cocoa Mountain is walkable from the house. It has very mixed reviews online but we enjoyed ‘chocolate chasers’ (hot chocolate or coffee with 4 chocolates of your choice) and there’s soya and oat milk for anyone who avoids dairy.

It’s a small thing, but more cutlery would have been ideal.

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Perfect home from home.

There was nothing I could fault this house on apart from missing a wee tin opener.

Complimentary tea and coffee would be a nice touch but apart from that it was a perfect base for our hiking adventures!
