Entire 1 Bed - Number 39 - The Cosy Collection Ltd

I had not realised that parking would be paid for in addition to the apartment rental. The place was not easy to find when driving.

Perfect location for sightseeing in York. A short walk into town (10 minutes). Apartment is well equipped with all you need for a short stay. The gin and biscuits was a nice touch on arrival. For my husband anyway as I don't drink gin. I took along some essentials which weren't needed (like condiments and cooking oil). Apartment has towels and hairdryer etc. Very cosy apartment with excellent heating and little home comforts like a throw and a footstool.

We couldn't find the extractor fan switch for bathroom and set off the detector with the amount of steam that came out into bedroom. The toilet paper provided was poor quality and for once I forgot to take any.

Fantastic property, well located &couldn't ask for more.will definatley come back to this property 👌👌

The accommodation was of a very high standard. Everything you could possibly need is supplied. Gin and tonic in the fridge and a large box of cookies are supplied as well as tea bags, milk and coffee pods. It’s just a short stroll from the train station and the same again to the centre of town. The property feels safe and secure. The whole area around the property is very well kept and clean.

I know it’s a personal thing but the pillows were horrendous. They were the wrong height and thickness. There were 4 pillows all the same. I ended up using cushions. Collecting the keys is a bit like an escape room puzzle.. cross the road, follow the picket fence, turn left, walk 100m, find a recessed gateway in the wall, locate your lockbox, enter code, get keys, walk back 20m to a black gate, use key fob to get in……. Actually not to bad in the daytime but could be very difficult in the dark. The amount of emails I got saying that I had to pay now was ridiculous. I paid through booking.com but I was being sent links to click to pay now. I ignored every one and it was ok as I knew I had already paid. I got notification today that my £100 deposit was being returned, which is nice, but it came via 2 emails.. 1 for £30 and 1 for £70… no idea why, but they enjoy sending emails!! BUT… I would definitely stay again.

It was located in a beautiful block of apartments less than 2 years old. The apartment was immaculate and well furnished. It was so centrally located for the station and town centre.
