The Old Post Office Apartment

Stayed here on the way down and the way back from my Son's wedding in Devon to break up the journey. Offers outstanding value for five people. The place was clean and well appointed. The pub downstairs is nice and closes at 11pm so no noise worries. The diamond find is the Indian takeaway across the street. Get the meal for two and you can adjust the main dishes , will easily feed 3-4 people super generous portions.

Climbing up stairs may not suit everyone

Lovely flat above a great bar . Spacious and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great location, amenities and shops nearby. We stayed for a wedding in Standish, easy driving distance.

Not very clean, there was leftover spilled cheese in the fridge and hair left in the shower

Fantastic little apartment with everything we needed, great location and having the bar downstairs is a bonus! Parking is easy and lots of shops, cafes, pubs and eateries around. Lovely walks by the canal too.

Everything was clean and tidy. It was an excellently kept apartment. It is an extremely affordable apartment.

The space was fantastic. Upstairs room was really spacious with space to sleep 3 then a double on 1st floor (above the pub). We literally just slept there after a wedding but facilities to cook, make coffee etc. If I needed the area again I would stay. I'd recommend it for anyone at a wedding at a Rivington Hall Barn. Just 8 mins away. Reasonable price

Some mini milks could have been helpful so you could make a drink. Small bed upstairs rather soft and springy.

So much bigger than expected! Lovely and clean and the bar below was an added bonus!
