Oystercatcher number 6 , 2 bedrooms maidencombe village

We stayed for two nights whilst visiting family in Devon. Alison the property owner was so friendly and fantastic with communicating arrival and departure information, quickly responding to questions and leaving complimentary milk, croissants and biscuits for our arrival. We arrived at the property a few hours earlier than check in and Alison was very accommodating letting us leave our car in the car park whilst we had a quick look around the village. The actual apartment was beautiful and really well equipped. We relaxed in the apartment both evenings and with two teenagers it was lovely to have the selection of games left in the lounge to play as a family. There was also an extensive range of books and magazines.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property itself. It was just a shame that the pub next door had closed down due to sudden unforeseen circumstances. Hopefully it will reopen again soon.

The apartment was perfectly clean and better than the photos. The location is great, 2 minutes from the beach and an excellent Beach Cafe.

The apartment was very clean and the facilities were excellent. I stayed with a young family and we had access to a highchair and cot that made life so much easier. The kitchen was well equipped too.

Everything. The location was perfect for us. We walked ,swam and used the pub. Accommodation was perfect. Our host Alison was superb with communication and made us feel very welcome.

One very minor thing.... The gorgeous duvet was lovely for winter but very heavy for summer... but this is a menopausal perspective😁

Absolutely beautiful apartment, can’t fault it. Furnishings are gorgeous and there is everything you could possibly need for your stay, we felt so at home. The location is stunning, a 1 minute walk to a lovely pub and further 1 minute away is the most private, peaceful little beach with cafe. Alison, the host, is so friendly and helpful we really couldn’t have wished for anything else. We will definitely be returning and would encourage anyone to book!

De sfeervolle inrichting en royale kamers met 2 badkamers. Een leuk klein strandje dichtbij onderaan de klif te bereiken via een trap. En om de hoek een uitstekende pub/restaurant.

Het viel mij persoonlijk niet tegen, maar de route ernaar toe is voor onervaren chauffeurs een kleine uitdaging.
