Modern and chic city centre apartment with parking

The apartment was as described, great location, quiet and we felt safe in the area. It was very clean, warm and suitable for our 2 night stay. It was easy to find from the directions given by the owners, the directions to get into the apartment were very clear, easy to follow and it was within easy walking distance to the centre of Oxford.

The instructions given for the parking space could have been clearer in saying that they weren't marked in numerical order. Also there are no drawers in the bedrooms, the wardrobe in the ensuite room not available for use and the wardrobe in the other bedroom had 1 hanger. We could not open the door to the balcony -which was a shame as we had 1 really warm day and we were looking forward to sitting out with a glass of wine after a fab day sightseeing in the city.

The location was perfect for me personally as I used to live close by when at uni. Handy for town though and the area is as gorgeous as ever. The apartment itself was lovely, spacious and very well equipped, some lovely modern quirky touches too.

It was expensive and the check in late and check out early. We'd driven for over five hours and would have loved a bit more chill time before the first evening. £323 for 42 hours is steep I think and although we could have paid more for earlier check in and later check out I couldn't afford it.

The apartment is very generous in space and belongs to a new development, windows are looking at the quiet street. It is good for self check-in although it took us some time to find the right entrance in the dark. It is worth mentioning that it is located next to the cemetery which I personally find beautiful.

There was no functioning wardrobe in one of the bedrooms and the shower door was wobbly. The apartment provides a bare minimum and you will need your own supplies if you stay more than one night.

Great central location. Spacious. Clean. Easy check in.

Not enough wine glasses or flutes. Light in lounge not working
