Balinoe Beag, Spean Bridge, Near Fort William

Our host was very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a cafetiere and one arrived. The accommodation was clean and well thought out. We felt it was a really good value for money. Even though it was cold, the flat cosy and warm.

I loved the place.. clean, modern, comfortable. Good size perfect for a singleton or couple. Great location for what I was doing in the area. Lovely views. Like that it had freesat for evening chill outs during a 5 night stay.

Kitchen utensils (if you’re there a few nights & cooking) .. a colander & sieve would be handy. Scissors & knives need sharpening. Oven trays could do with replacing.

Peaceful location ideally situated for Munro bagging and general touring. Good views towards Aonach Moor and Ben Nevis. Easy parking immediately adjacent to the apartment. Close to the convenience store (Spar) in the village.

Nothing really. A washing machine would be useful but space is at a premium.

Host was very friendly and helpful. He warned us about the fact that there could be a power-cut due to storm Amy and offered us a torch, just in case. When the power-cut took longer than expected, he even gave us a camping stove and kettle, so we could at least make tea ;). He kept apologising, but that was nature, not his fault. Accomodation and keys were easy to find with the description we received. The host left milk and cookies for us, on arrival, for our fist cup of tea after a long drive from Ullapool. Very thoughtful. We had a great time there despite the weather. Great location in a beautiful area of Scotland. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything was good, no negatives at all.

Great communication leading up to my stay. Nice and quiet location but close to local amenities. Easy arrival day. Very comfy bed which was just what I needed after a long day in the hills. Nice and warm with everything I needed.

Lovely place. Within walking distance of Spean Bridge train station. Easy drive to everywhere else we visited, Ben Nevis,Fort William. Very easy check in. Place had all the amenities we needed. Cost wise. The whole area of Fort William isn't cheap, id definitely suggest Spean Bridge as an alternative if you are driving. Still close to everything.

Very quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable.

House had an abandoned look to it - exterior landscaping needs some improvement 😊
