Apple Perch 2BR Flat - Free Parking

This was a short (end of trip) stay in a very charming, comfortable 2 bedroom flat about 15 minutes drive from central historic Oxford, parking spot within the greater complex. My daughter declared its cheerful decor the nicest of the trip. Kitchen appointments functional for easy (kids noodles) food. The 2 beds and the sofa bed all were comfortable. There is a kids playground in a large green space a short walk away. We didn’t use public transit but there are nearby bus stops and shops and a supermarket a short drive away. Would stay again if in Oxford. Pleasant and quick e-message responding host.

Very few real issues overall - we thought the parking permit could be left with clearer direction as to which space/where it is.

The host was kind , allowed me to shorten my stay and check out the next day when I planned for 5 days. I expected this flat to be nice and clean like in the photos because the host asked for unusual extra 200£ deposit which is not noticeable when I booked this flat unless you go through every words in the apps. However, I was not happy about paying for the extra cleaning fees when the flat was old and so dirty! Tables in living room and toilets are damaged. Host can’t even be bothered to replace those damaged tables ?? Dust everywhere ! I didn’t want to be bothered and wanted to leave immediately. I think the host should be totally responsible for the cleaningness of the flat when this is a short term rental without any excuses! Not happy to pay the extra cleaning fees when the flat is so dirty!

The flat is dark, the stairs going up to the flat is steep, more like to the 3rd floor rather than 2nd , neighbors were yelling when we tried to look for the parking , closet in Master room is extremely dirty. I can’t even put my clothes on the shelves. Mattress is old and horrible with stains all over. The bed sheets with brown stains of a size of about 6x4 inches tucked in, body hairs and hair on the bed sheets. I was extremely upset after all that traveling. Couldn’t rest peacefully. I had to send photos and videos to the host to ask to change it immediately. My experience was not great at all! I can not understand why the host asked for extra 200£ deposit when all the furniture are so old and deteriorated. I am a regular guest of B.com for many years. Never had that kind of experience! The host asked me not to leave bad comments, but I have to be frank and give honest feedback.

Thank you Manu .We had a very comfortable stay in your lovely flat.It was very convenient for getting to Oxford City Centre.

Just the shower fixture itself needs a little minor attention.
