Melbury

perfect studio for our needs. It had everything we needed for a three night stay. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The location was great - we fitted in some lovely walls, visited Chichester for the Bosham harbour and fantastic gallery. Also visited the nearby sculpture gardens and Knepp ‘rewinding’ estate. The bathroom is colder than the other areas but we chose not to use the heating ( although we had been invited to if needed), so not a big issue.

Our stay at Melbury was really lovely. The property is a perfect little getaway stay with everything you could possibly need for a couple nights relaxing. It's situated in a very nice quiet location with a couple of nearby pubs/cafes and a co-op about 15 minute walk away for any last minute supplies you might need. I recommend breakfast/lunch at the Milk Churn which is just a few minutes walk down the road. When we arrived we were greeted by our lovely host, who provided all the information we needed about the apartment and things to do locally. Getting our keys and checking in was very straight forward, quick and easy! Inside the property you will find a very clean and spacious bathroom at the bottom of the stairs to your right as you enter (the shower is fantastic), an exceptionally comfy bed at the top of the stairs to your left (with a perfectly placed TV at the foot of the bed) and a Kitchen including a cooker/oven on the left. The heating in the apartment is excellent and warms the place very quickly. All windows have blinds that provide total privacy when closed. Over-all this property is a 10/10 for what you get and for a great price. I absolutely recommend.

The location was good for us although we needed to use the 3 words app to find the correct location. The area was quiet and the use of a kitchen to make breakfast was great. Good shower.

Pillows were a little dated and the noise of a boiler or some water pump kept me awake during the night, but I am a very light sleeper so it didn't bother my partner.

Beautiful apartment set in a quiet village ,I travel this way frequently so I will definitely use Melbury again ..

mattress a little soft and bouncy for us but just personal choice. maybe pop some milk in the fridge but only because i forgot to bring some.

Booked on behalf of my colleague, he has stayed here a few times now, lovely little place to stay.

Lovely, cosy and comfortable apartment with safe parking. Marion was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for us.

We couldn't get WiFi to work. However, we didn't contact Marion because for only 2 nights and being out and about all day, we really didn't need it.
