The Lodge Dunrowan

Very well equipped, the owners keep in touch and are very helpful. We travel to many properties and it is so nice to stay somewhere where the owners take pride in their accommodation rather than it be just a money making business. The lodge is like a home from home , decorated beautifully making it such a relaxing, cozy atmosphere.

Easy access and street parking by the door.

Places to eat and drink in Kyle of Lochalsh very basic. Eat in the apartment every night.

We arrived in the teeth of storm Eowyn, cancelled trains and the expectation of hurricane force winds. The owner met us off the bus and really went out of his way to help. The apartment is lovely. They've thought of everything and, because of the storm, we spent most of our time in it cooking and reading ( even though, in the end, that far north, the storm was just a bit of winter weather.

The feeling of the lodge makes the stay so worthwhile. cosy and comfy are an understatement. The Lodge is immaculate and the decor makes you extremely relaxed.

Having to leave, honestly the area is stunning. I was there over 20 years ago and the drive up and views make you consider staying.

It was easy to contact the owner, very helpful and available. Nice welcome. Lots of extra thought put into our welcome.

Parking a bit 'hit and miss' but not a real problem. We ate at the property most of the time, which was well equipped and easy to use. (Though we never did find the instructions for the hob/oven, it was easy to work out.) Restaurants and eating places in the vicinity were closed, unable to accommodate us or you had to book. Not the fault of the owners of the property but useful info' for anyone staying in this area.

So close to Skye and well equipped

It was well kept and comfortable. Everything I needed.

It took me a while to locate it as my sat nav sent me to a different part of Main Street. Once that was sorted, it was very easy to navigate.

Perfect location for several days exploring the Isle of Skye. Lots of room to spread out, and loved having a full kitchen for meals at the end of the day.
