Convenient location for visiting the Isle of Skye.

Two of the room heaters were locked at a low temperature. The apartment was chilly (we were there in early May)

Ideal place to stay and roam around We missed chance of going to glenco from kyle The castle is superb But going yo porty is almost useless

Bed sheets and bed needed yo be vacumed as it had opened after some time.so a sense of dust house allergy was there

A beautifully decorated property! The whole place was very clean and spotless. The kitchen was well kitted out and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The lodge is very well situated, close to the main street and great for exploring the Isle of Skye too. The owners sent us lots of very helpful information. Great WiFi!

The only issue we had was that the lodge could have been warmer. When we arrived it was very cold and it took a long time to heat up.

We would definitely stay here if we go to Isle of Skye. The flat has a great location in Kyle of Loclash, 10 mins drive to most famous Eilean Donan Castle and an hour drive to Isle of Skye. We found everything we need in the apartment even with complimentary biscuits, milk and other products we can use. The flat was very clean and Johnny was so helpful, he directed us very well to find the location of the property.

There is nothing we didn't like, everything was great.

Johnny and Lynn were fantastic hosts and answered all of my questions. The home was cosy and beautiful. A few restaurants and a wonderful butcher/fishmonger nearby. We were also able to cook in the house and there are a few basic cooking ingredients available!

We found it a little difficult to find.

Hosts were friendly and provided many personal touches to improve the stay. Location is amazing, the gateway to Skye, quiet and peaceful. Lovely layout and the facilities were excellent. Shower is superb, radio and Internet very good and even a small outdoor table to use. It isn't cheap but it's certainly a good rate compared to similar options on Skye and I'd go so far as to say its unbeatable for the quality/ price. You could pay (a lot) more for more but you won't get a better place for the same price and likewise you won't get the same quality if you pay less. Absolutely recommend it for those happy to self guide and wanting to explore both Skye and mainland areas on the West Coast.

Minor thing but it's decorated to the point of being a little overboard with shelves and tables full of ornaments and frames & mirrors over most of the walls and cushions and a large soft bear in the bedroom. We'd have rather had a little more space than decorations but each to their own, it's harmless and pleasant enough.
