The Lady of the Lake Windermere

lovely cosy little cottage with everything you need! hosts were lovely and friendly making sure we had all the information needed.

the only thing that could of made this stay any better would have been being able to have a bath

Cottage was excellent, tidy, comfortable and warm.

Location could have been better, says it's 15 minutes away from Windermere but it's a hike up hill so will be longer without a car.

The cottage was amazing, so cute and cozy and the view of the lake from the window was gorgeous! It heated up lovely in the night when we got back out of the cold and the selection of romantic/comedy dvds was a lovely touch. We would love to stay again in the summer we really enjoyed our stay thank you x

Nothing really jumps to mind. Definitely good for just 2 people.

Location was great! Close to Bowness and a very short walk away from lake Windermere. It was a lovely, cozy little place. The host was lovely especially on check in, asking us if we needed anything. She even left a box of little biscuits and a bottle in the fridge as a nice welcome gesture. It was just the getaway we needed before our baby comes in a few months. Great value for money and we felt very much at home.

Facilities in the cottage, location, the host contacted us via text to ensure everything was okay and there was a bottle and some biscuits waiting for us on arrival. We requested to have access an hour earlier than advertised and there wasn't an issue with this request.

The wifi was a bit hit and miss. We are keen cyclists, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to store bikes if we were to return in the future. However, for a couple who like walking or just to get away for a few days, this is an ideal location to stay.

Anya's place is absolutely amazing, so cute, clean, cosy and in a great location for romantic getaways.
