The apartment was clean, bright, sunny, well equipped. There is car parking.

The hot water for the shower was not hot enough. The hosts were able to sort this. The heating would not come on to start with, the hosts were able to sort this.

A lovely recently refurbished upstairs apartment in a quiet area of the city, within 10 minutes walk of the station and 20 minutes from the cathedral. Parking outside the property was easy with the residence permit provided. We were able to keep it cool and dark during a period of exceptional hot weather. The kitchen was very well equipped and suitable for home cooking. The bathroom and shower were also in great condition. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this property for people wishing to explore Winchester and the surrounding area.

There is little to dislike about this property, although the small bedroom filled by a double bed did make difficult to get in and out of bed as one side had to be pushed against the wall. For many this will not be a problem, although larger, less agile people may wish to take this into consideration. Unlike some properties there was no milk on arrival and no laundry liquid for the washing machine, again something to plan for if you choose to stay here. Check-in is time controlled so make sure you plan to arrive after the designated time. One final thing to note, expect to be asked to fill-in an online form and photo ID which is used to collect a deposit. This can be a bit unnerving if it is the first time you have encounter this system.

Location was good. Cleanliness was excellent. Arrangement of facilities in kitchen and shower room were good.

The bedroom was very small with a standard double bed that was difficult to get in and out of.
