Bessies Cottage

Decor took us back in time but interesting. Location to oldest thatched pub In Ireland. Great outdoor space to sit in the sun. Yes “Sun”!

Bed in downstairs room too high

very nice stay, the rooms we very nice and clean and the place well situated

Bessies Cottage was so warm and comfortable. We had a lovely stay. Location was great. And Host was very helpful and quick to reply. We will be using Bessies Cottage in the future.

The cottage was as we expected. Clean and comfortable if a little tiered. Kids had a shock with no WiFi.

Unfortunately the shower had very little pressure and hot water was a little hit or miss.

It was in a great location perfect to visit Giant Causeway and Belfast as in the middle of them both. It had everything we needed, comfortable, homely a bit dated, but thats fine as it felt like we had gone back in time. The owner was very communicative when messaged. I would definitely go back or recommend it to family.

Very good price. We were able to bring the dog which was great. Comfy beds. Good communication with the host. Not too far from home. Close to Ballymena and Randalstown. We would stay again.

(I assume) the people who had previously used the cottage had not washed the dishes properly and crockery, glasses and utensils had to be rewashed as they were really not clean. Just so this can be checked in future. There was what looked like coffee stains on one of the bed sheets. Aside from this everything else was spot on.

Friendliness of Carmeen, our host. Property was everything we needed & so quiet & peaceful, just wish that we'd been staying for longer.

Wasn't aware that bath towels weren't available but I should have checked that & not just assumed.
