The view was amazing. That was the reason we booked. The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely views and lovely character. The log burner was ready to light (we didn’t need it as the apartment was warm anyway).

I feel unsafe in a second floor building with no fire escape but perhaps that’s an unreasonable worry. The windows were splattered in bird droppings. I cleaned three of the windows but the others were difficult to reach so wet just put up with it.

The room has a gorgeous location with a lovely view. It's clean and seems very recently decorated.

The wall between this "cabin" room and the next room lets in all their noise. The level to which that came through was intense - we could hear every word and knew exactly what they were saying rather than some muffled background noise. There were several people in the next room having quite a lively conversation and it wasn't conducive to a restful stay. There was almost no noise from the lively restaurant behind which these rooms are housed, so it must just be that joining wall that's a problem. We tried to contact the hosts but they weren't able to offer us another room. We left the property after only a couple of hours but were refused a refund as "the room and its walls are standard for the property and all guests book with that in mind"

Good location, clean, tasteful decoration. Great to wake up to the view.

Being an old property we got noise from upstairs mostly creaking wooden floor boards.
