North Coast Escapes

North Coast Escapes is such a lovely, cosy and clean place, with everything we needed to have a great time exploring the surrounding countryside ! Perfect place for our family of four to unwind with the jacuzzi after visiting all the beauty spots up to Durness, including the Flow country with its bogs, and the inner roads (A897) where we saw lambs and red deer roaming 😍

Ein wirklich schönes kleines Häuschen mit Whirlpool. Wir wollten hier übernachten, weil wir mit der Fähre auf die Orkneys wollten. Leider waren die Fähren ausgebucht. Trotzdem haben wir die Ruhe sehr genossen.

Fantastic and convenient place to stay if you are on the NC500. Easy to get to with a nice view across the sea. Very clean and tidy on arrival. Generous space inside the cabin too. The owners provided tea bags / coffee sachets and small milk cartons plus some nice sweets and biscuits. We enjoyed a visit to the Whaligoe Steps (see photo) which is only 5 mins drive from the cabin - well worth a look and walk those 365 steps! We also drove to Wick to get fish and chips and ate these overlooking the sea with the patio doors open. Highly recommended place to stay and helpful owners.

It’s hard to find anything significant to say here as the cabin is really well appointed and spotless. If I was being highly critical, for the size of the cabin some more comfortable chairs at the table would have been appreciated - it was ok for one night stay though. Also the water in the hot tub at the side didn’t seem very clean. We didn’t use this facility as a consequence.

Everything was fantastic with the hot tub being an added bonus 🥰

The Cabin had an warm home feel to it. The beautiful view. The cabin was clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Was a true little gem.
