The Shirt Factory Apartments

The bed was so comfortable, I slept better than at home. I also liked the smart temperature regulation, which I think promoted good sleep. There was a fully equipped kitchenette and even some coffee, which was rather welcome in the morning.

Some of the controls have a bizarre delay in them, which is odd for light fittings in particular. I could have done with a warning that there are no convenience shops around or any shops open after 6 pm within a walking distance. I couldn't get any milk for my coffee. It would have been good to have a bit of a briefing on that as I could have brought some from home. Alternatively, a suggestion for the business: I would not have minded to be charged for it, but it would have been good to have some refreshments in the fridge and at least a bottle of water available.

The property has a fantastic and very cool decor and great quality! Parking fab

Clean, central, owners really receptive and helpful. Very difficult to find anything bad to say. Excellent stay.

It was fabulous. Very pet friendly. We had everything we needed for a weekend away. Very central.

When you turn the light on for the kitchen (which is necessary otherwise its dark) the fan comes on and it distroyed my brain with how loud it was

These are amazing apartments! Home from home with all you need. It's the little touches in the room that make it such a great stay. Comfy bed, warm, quiet, close to town centre, bus & train station. Gorgeous shower & fresh towels. I felt very safe also as a solo traveller. Would highly recommend

Nothing-was all brill

Having booked both ground floor units it was like having a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, family living area and 2 seperate bathrooms. Had everything we needed in the ground floor apartment so the twin studio was just like a second bedroom. Perfect as I was travelling with my elderly mother and brother on a 9 day visit to my sister. Needed a unit for my mother who can't manage many steps or a bath so the walk in shower instead of a bath [ which is near impossible to find in the area ] was perfect. The hosts were great to deal with as I had questions about the accessibility for my mother. The parking was easy as right at either the front or back entrance.

The only thing I could fault was that in the twin studio the cord for the hairdryer was not long enough to be able to use it in front of any mirror so if you need to see in a mirror to style your hair maybe bring your own or a short extension cord[ don't know if the same in the 1 bedroom ground floor apartment] was not a big issue for me
