Calm - 1BR - 1BA - Apartment - Central Ambleside

Location was perfect - centre of Ambleside. Appreciated the descriptions provided on how to find the apartment/car spot but suggest below further improvements as we had an issue with the car parking. Key Locker was also stiff - made it hard to open, throwing doubt if we had the right place.

Provision of Shampoo and Bath Gel should have been included as it has in all locations we have travelled to in over last few years. This would have made for a perfect stay. If you still decide not to provide, please state explicitly so future customers know and don't get caught out like us. Another issue we had was the Pizza shop next door used our car park spot and also they were very noisy at night (loud talking)- perhaps a word with to not use the spot and keep the noise down would be helpful. Suggest you 'label' the car park spot (or provide a photo) so we can be sure which one is for No. 2 apartment; also suggest putting a No 2, outside the door of the apartment. To make it a lot easier to find (just like No. 1)

it has everything we needed. Amazing central location.

The only thing I can say that I didn’t like was the squeaky door going into the kitchen! It was quite disruptive if you needed to get up at night.

The location was fantastic, situated in the heart of Ambleside. really great apartment for any couples looking for a place in Ambleside. modern decor, full kitchen, large bathroom with shower. I rang the company (owners) to enquire about parking and they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I would really recommend this place to anyone. had a fantastic stay.

this didn’t bother us too much as we’re both young(ish) but the apartment is situated up four flights of stairs, so may not be best suited to anyone with mobility issues. the main shared door to the building is to be kept shut/locked at all times (for security reasons) the lock is a bit temperamental, takes a bit of fiddling about with the key to unlock it. I realise the door to the main building might be the responsibility of a few different people/owners and maybe not down to the company who run the apartment to sort. it really didn’t bother me personally but just thought I’d mention it as it may over time get worse. and at night without a light/torch to see may be a bit difficult.
