Beautiful property in an exceptional location, with everything we needed for a great week's stay

The location was lovely, the kitchen was very well stocked,the seats and beds were comfy. Jo was extremely welcoming.

The windows to the front are in very poor condition but are being changed very soon, I hope they have double glazing to keep the heat in and the noise of the seagulls out. The majority of the walls and radiators are all looking a bit tired. The limited welcome book states the property has recently been completely refurbished but I feel this was probably a while ago. It would be nice to have the contact details for takeaways, doctors, restaurants etc. local walks etc. None of this hindered our holiday however having recently stayed in a property in Cornwall at a similar cost I was a bit disappointed the decoration was not of a similar standard.

Stunning location, a few metres from the sea. Big windows for watching the sunset.Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was bliss. Spacious rooms from a large hall. Big comfy master bedroom. New beach hut was a bonus. Allocated parking space.

Entrance at the rear, some steps uneven but manageable, on the car park side.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment! It is right by the beach and we really loved the view and sound of the waves from the house!!

Views and location.

Needing to pack up towels and sheets at the end of our stay. No spare toilet rolls. Awkward stairs. No hanging space for clothes.

The location of the property was amazing. To have such great views of the sea and to hear the sound of the waves was such a treat! As a family of 5 (4 adults, including 2 grandparents, and a 6 year old), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was remote enough to switch off and relax and yet only a 2 min walk from The Waterfront restaurant, which was lovely, and a short drive to other amenities. The property was warm (we just turned up the heating if we felt it wasn’t), very clean and spacious. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Nothing really detracted from our stay - we had a lovely time. If I was sharing feedback about small things that would make a stay even better, they would be to have a Nespresso machine (we brought our own), more mugs (6 wasn’t really enough for the 4 of us to avoid washing them by hand) and possibly a newer TV (i.e. a SMART TV so that you could watch things beyond Freesat with your own login). In the grand scheme of things though, all very minor. As others have said, the outside steps to the entrance of the property are a bit tricky, especially when wet, plus we had some heavy footed neighbours upstairs but not much you can do about that.
