Chester City Apartments with free parking

It’s in a great location

We were cold, the radiator in the lounge room wasn’t working, and couldn’t find instructions & owner didn’t contact us back after we text. While the apartment looks pretty, felt somethings needed attention, like the heating, the window coverings are broken and hard to manage, the “locked gate for parking was never locked” if you have a washing machine a clothes airer would be appreciated. Possibly 4 coat hangers in the apartment. If the above were fixed it would be a 10/10 for me.

Lovely apartment in peaceful area but only a short walk across to town centre. Ideal place to stay when going to the races as the apartment is opposite the course. Mark was so very helpful and communication was excellent. Would definitely stay there again and also recommend the place.

The included car park is fantastic. The privacy and quiet location. The property is brilliant. Super comfy bed. A home away from home.

Three things were super: Firstly, Chester is one of the best places in the UK for a short city break. There is SO much to see and do. Great restaurants, too. Secondly, the location of the apartments is excellent. They are located within the city walls, very close to the race course and only 5 or 6 minutes' walk from the city epicentre. They are on a quiet road with none of the late-night revellers than can often spoil a city centre location. Thirdly, the apartment itself was excellent. Dedicated, and reserved, parking gets things off to a flying start (and the dedicated spaces are generously sized too). This is the first two-bedroom apartment we have stayed in for ages that actually HAS two bedrooms. Usually, the second bedroom is nothing other than a sofa bed in the living room. But here both bedrooms are proper bedrooms and each of a generous size, too. And the apartment has plenty of character, is warm and comfortable, with a good bathroom.

Although the apartment is on the ground floor, there are five or six steps (downwards) in order to reach the front door. Not a problem for us, but guests with disabilities might need to be aware. Guests arriving at night might find it tricky to locate the right building (there is only limited signage). Note that it's the last building on the right as you drive down Blackfriars toward the race course.

Luckily we didn't watch much TV but reception was awful.. Towels seem to be just washed and hung out ad very rough.
